I'm taking a quick break from assembling my new bookcases from Ikea... I'm so tired my hands are practically shaking, but I'm really excited about my new furniture and I want to see it finished tonight! Plus all my books are lying on the floor now.

This morning, while waiting for my mother, I did a quick drawing that I thought you might like to see:

Fandom: Twilight
Characters: Jasper
Rating: R for nudity (though not frontal ;))
Medium: Derwent drawing pencils on coloured paper
Summary: Jasper is in the forest, contemplating climbing a tree... Why is he naked? I'm not entirely sure, but he assured me that that was the case! ;) (And who am I to argue with the muse?)

To tell the truth it is in the Twilight fandom because that was what I was thinking of when I drew it. It has no hidden meaning other than what you can get from seeing a gorgeous man! ;)

So I'm guessing I haven't spoiled myself for Twilight by coming to visit Jasper here. ;) (Yes, I do know who he is...I've picked up a lot of lore from the f-list lately...)

Along with the, erm, features that everyone is enjoying, I have to say I also really like the shoulder blades, as well as the bicep on that reaching arm. Light and shadow really bring out all these contours -- very cool.

Nope, no spoilers here. Just good old NWP*. And it's almost impossible to stay unaware of a myriad of Twilight things from the old HP-flist these days..

I had fun drawing on coloured paper - it meant that I could use white to highlight and darks to shadow and leave the middle colours to the paper. So I'm glad you like how that has sculpted his body. And shoulder blades are sexy too! :)

Oh, rawr. His arse. :O *ahem* I also love the arch of his lower back, his right bicep, and the way the left arm hangs relaxed. Somehow I imagine that vampires might prefer to run around naked in the woods when hunting, if not for the risk of stumbling across humans. So his nakedness actually makes sense to me, especially given his rather raw and primal background. Again, rawr. Well done. :D
