Sketches

Now I have been working on those two drawings for some time - and just to prove it, here are some sketches for one of them!

And no, alas, the onehanded one with the sword is not Maedhros - it is the artist being lazy and having no inclination to draw difficult hands, if she doesn't have to! And please ignore Danish notes next to the drawings - I'm writing down ideas for getting away from things I find difficult. For example (and I think you will all breathe easier) the helmet will be gone from the final drawing, as I imagined some handy way for him to have taken it of moments before this situation occurs! (phew)

And now I will go back and work some more on them! I'm still on schedule to have them finished before Sunday. Yay

Nice sketches, especially the sword dancer and Fëanor's helmet. Pity I can't read the notes.
Hands, they are horrible, but the more we draw them the easier they are. Said by a person who sketched hands 3 times maybe, but the future will bring more ;)

I will remember to do the notes in English from now for the benefit of lj! :) Who knows, you might enjoy my agonising! I really like the sword dancer as well, but in the final drawing he had to change his position almost completely.. So I'm glad to have uploaded this version. :) Yes, well hands... I'm learning that (as with so many other things) less is more.. A suggestion of the hands is often better than trying to get every little detail! That's what I finally did with Findekano playing the harp.
