I wish you all the best on this day (and all others!) I hope you have had time today to just sit and enjoy it with your two guys. :D Thank you for your friendship over this past year, and may there be many more!

I wanted to bring you a little something, but I couldn't decide what, until I remembered that you share my love for a certain Denethor - and he willingly showed up to muse me. The idea mutated (as per usual) so I haven't been able to finish it, but I can give you a glimpse of the sketch as it stands now:

I have been trying to work on the background first for once, instead of just throwing it in as an afterthought, but as you can see, I couldn't resist working a bit on the leading man. ;) I'm also procrastinating on how to colour this, but that's for another rant!

Denethor is absolutely gorgeous in this. I love the entire setup. Wow. I cannot wait to see the finished product. Rhapsody is a fortunate indeed.

Thank you! Denethor is really growing on me, and I'm happy to spread the love. This scene was pretty much begging to be illustrated, but I have two very different ideas for how to colour this and I'm terrible at making these decisions...

Oh Denethor! Noble and fiercefull leader here, look how that child holds his hand in full trust. I think he needs more show time! I'd love to see this unfold with all the details and colouring and.. please take your time, I am just so bouncy that you made this for me. ^=^ Binks drew me a painting a while back which had me completely in awe too, so excuse me while I bounce off while clapping my hands in excitement :c) And yes, many many years more of friendship! *big hug*

I'm so thrilled that you like it, and that I'm not alone in wishing to see more of Denethor. :D And I couldn't resist the child, because whenever I think of you, I think of Kevin too! I have two very different ideas for how to colour this, so I may procrastinate a little on how to proceed. ;) But rest assured that it will be finished. Denethor has wowed not to leave until that day - he is even packing to come with me to Maryland. :D
