Another sketch (Feanor and Fingolfin)

Here is the other drawing for the 7in7 project in a (hopefully) final sketch.

It still needs more work obviously, but I hope that Feanor and Fingolfin are in the right places! Can you tell that Feanors face caused me problems? Hmpf.. Well, when I finish the rest of the shading it shouldn't stand out as much as it does now!  Oh and another thing; the helmet was supposed to have fallen to the floor, but it sure looks as though it is floating on the air... Could you be convinced that it is falling at the very moment of the drawing? Feanor is supposed to have had it under his arm, and then drops it to catch hold of Fingolfin... First I wanted him to wear the stupid thing, but it obscured his face completely, especially if it was to protect any vital parts...

I should still be able to finish these two before Sunday - but it will be a close call! I'm having fun though, it's a challenge to finish something in so short a time, when I had to create everything from scratch. :)

Hmmm look at that face of Fëanor... he's so bitter. I wonder what you will show in Fingolfins face :)

Yes, it is not exactly his shining moment... I will have to draw him in a better time sometime, just to see a smile on his face. Poor Fingolfin is suffering from my indecision about his expression! Maybe he will put his foot down soon and tell me exactly what he is feeling - but he is strangely quiet about the whole thing. And Tolkien is not much help, describing him as just deferring to Feanor..
