Oh, I'm so glad you made it! Congratulations. :)

And I didn't realize you were including Molly and her brothers -- this sounds just fantastic and I can't wait to have a chance to read/view it.

And you made it too! I'm so happy I got it done on time. :D

For some reason Fabian and Gideon have been rolling around the back of my head, since I read DH where Molly gave Fabian's watch to Harry. I'm glad to have found a chance to tell this story. And I hope to hear what you think of it.

Absolutely fantastic. Utterly devastating, but wonderful. It's been absolute ages since I've read any HP, and this really moved me.

OMG I made it! and psssst, the link is in the title, the whole thing is there ;)

YAY! I felt like I got to know those twins over the last couple of months. I think I'll be sad not to have them waiting for me when I come home anymore...

*squee!* Gideon and Fabian, this is awesome! For characters who only got a couple of lines in the books, I am ridiculously fond of them. *goes to read*

...

OH MY GOD. ;_______; That was amazingly done. Amazingly. The way you brought all of it together, the fight with the Death Eaters, the wonderful dynamic between the twins (and Molly <3), and I might be wrong but... was it just me or there was a bit of tension between Remus and Sirius?

Also! Peter. Peter Peter Peter. You managed to make him creepy, traitorous, and yet still one could see the. Driving force behind what made him do it, i.e. the final page.

And as always, the artwork was simply beautiful. I love your painting, your drawing style, and it just works so wonderfully with this! Favourite page would have to be # 8, with the Burrow (chickens! wheee~), and Gideon and Fabian with their smokes. *nodnod*

All in all, fabulous work! ♥

*squeeees back* I know - I love those twins as well, and I was so happy to give them a story where they were the main characters.

Thank you for such a fantastic comment! It makes me so happy that you like the story, the art and those things you pick up on are all themes I was hoping to introduce so yay! And yes, at this point in time I think tension would be running pretty high among the Marauders, and I had a whole sub plot about it, that unfortunately had to go, so I'm really really happy you still picked up those hints I chose to leave in. :D

I must admit that I like the Burrow too! :D especially the chickens!!. That is also one of my favourite pages.

Thank you again for this comment. It means a lot!

I want you to know, before I get to review this properly that it was the one entry I had to peak at last night, despite a work deadline. The boys just look so badass on that cover, collars up, orange hair against inky blue background and wands at the ready.

Oh thank you for letting me know. I hope the work deadline didn't suffer too much. The boys are suitably pleased that you favoured them. ;)

Late a bit, but here I am with a comment.

I want to say that I'm thoroughly impressed, not only by the quality of the novel, but also by the loads and loads of work that you accomplished in such a short time! Then, as it sometimes (or often) happens, when someone rushes to do things, they don't come out as one might expect due to the hurry. But that's not the case of your drawings. *thumbs up*

Well, I don't know much about the story behind the novel, but it seems nonetheless very interesting to me, and I think you've done an immensely good job with portraying the characters' emotions. Loved the expressions of their faces, tiny details like the grip on one of the twins' shoulder, the hens, etc.

The mood is quite well achieved here too -- the colors, from orange to grey.

I'm not going to comment at the story itself, because I don't know it, but it is very dramatic and extremely well depicted. *applauds*

Excellent!

You are welcome at any time dear! :D

Thank you for saying such wonderful things about it. You, if any, had to suffer through my moaning about how much I still had left to do and how little time there was to do it in..

I'm thrilled beyong anything that you can tell the characters' emotions from the images. I'm very fond of the one with the hand on the shoulder as well. And the chickens. I like the chickens. lol!

I'm happy you picked up on the colours too. I didn't exactly work with a limited pallette, but I did try to set the mood with the colours as well. :D

♥ Thank you!

I loved it--a very good combination of words and images. I like how you fleshed out this particular event, the last scene where the brothers hold hands was so heartbreaking! I also loved the cameos of Sirius, Lupin and Molly (was that Bill she's holding). The pocket watch was a nice touch. All your hard work really shows in these pages! I've got nothing else to say except I'm very impressed and thanks for sharing this.

Thank you so much! Combining words and images is indeed the trick to this kind of story, so you telling me that I succeeded at that is awesome. :) Thank you for pointing out your favourite parts, I love to know what they are. (and that is Ron she is holding, so she is already a mother of 6 at this point! O.o! Fabian is being an idiot when he says she isn't doing anything - she is building an army for the next round ;))

Thank you so much for leaving your thoughts for me. It means a lot.

Wow, just wow! The work that went into this, the art, the writing - that kind of dedication to an idea is just awesome. Even beyond the story it tells (which is heartbreaking), the whole thing is just really beautiful to look at. I'm with werewolfsfan about the Burrow. I really love it (and the chickens just add that little bit of oomph to that painting:D)

I noticed you signed up for rs_games (I'm a co-mod there this year), which thrills me no end. I look forward to enjoying more of your art:D

Thank you so much! I'm so glad you found the story heartbreaking (which just sounds wrong) because that was what I was hoping for. I very much enjoyed creating this, and therefore it is even more awesome to hear that others enjoyed it as well. And The Burrow! :D I had fun sketching that one out for sure. :D

I'm very much looking forward to the rs_games as well! I've never tried anything like that, and I look forward to being part of the huge creative outpour in October!

This is really impressive: the plot and the drawings themselves. I love pre Harry times stories, and Fabian and Gideon don't get enough attention in fandom.

Thank you for this!

Thank you so much for leaving such a nice comment! I love the pre-Harry times too and piecing together the little hints JKR left for us.

Fabian and Gideon agree with you that they need much more exposure indeed. ;)
