Date: 2009-06-02 04:55 am (UTC)For some reason Fabian and Gideon have been rolling around the back of my head, since I read DH where Molly gave Fabian's watch to Harry. I'm glad to have found a chance to tell this story. And I hope to hear what you think of it.

Date: 2009-06-02 04:59 am (UTC)YAY! I felt like I got to know those twins over the last couple of months. I think I'll be sad not to have them waiting for me when I come home anymore...

OH MY GOD. ;_______; That was amazingly done. Amazingly. The way you brought all of it together, the fight with the Death Eaters, the wonderful dynamic between the twins (and Molly <3), and I might be wrong but... was it just me or there was a bit of tension between Remus and Sirius?
Also! Peter. Peter Peter Peter. You managed to make him creepy, traitorous, and yet still one could see the. Driving force behind what made him do it, i.e. the final page.
And as always, the artwork was simply beautiful. I love your painting, your drawing style, and it just works so wonderfully with this! Favourite page would have to be # 8, with the Burrow (
chickens! wheee~), and Gideon and Fabian with their smokes. *nodnod*All in all, fabulous work! ♥

Date: 2009-06-02 05:17 am (UTC)Thank you for such a fantastic comment! It makes me so happy that you like the story, the art and those things you pick up on are all themes I was hoping to introduce so yay! And yes, at this point in time I think tension would be running pretty high among the Marauders, and I had a whole sub plot about it, that unfortunately had to go, so I'm really really happy you still picked up those hints I chose to leave in. :D
I must admit that I like the Burrow too! :D
especially the chickens!!. That is also one of my favourite pages.Thank you again for this comment. It means a lot!

Date: 2009-06-05 07:27 am (UTC)I want to say that I'm thoroughly impressed, not only by the quality of the novel, but also by the loads and loads of work that you accomplished in such a short time! Then, as it sometimes (or often) happens, when someone rushes to do things, they don't come out as one might expect due to the hurry. But that's not the case of your drawings. *thumbs up*
Well, I don't know much about the story behind the novel, but it seems nonetheless very interesting to me, and I think you've done an immensely good job with portraying the characters' emotions. Loved the expressions of their faces, tiny details like the grip on one of the twins' shoulder, the hens, etc.
The mood is quite well achieved here too -- the colors, from orange to grey.
I'm not going to comment at the story itself, because I don't know it, but it is very dramatic and extremely well depicted. *applauds*
Excellent!

Date: 2009-06-05 09:16 am (UTC)Thank you for saying such wonderful things about it. You, if any, had to suffer through my moaning about how much I still had left to do and how little time there was to do it in..
I'm thrilled beyong anything that you can tell the characters' emotions from the images. I'm very fond of the one with the hand on the shoulder as well. And the chickens. I like the chickens. lol!
I'm happy you picked up on the colours too. I didn't exactly work with a limited pallette, but I did try to set the mood with the colours as well. :D
♥ Thank you!
