Summary: Sirius is thrown in Azkaban after confronting Peter about the deaths of the Potters. When the Dementors come for him, he starts reliving the worst moments of his life; from his childhood memories, to his Hogwarts escapades, to his time as an Auror, Sirius journeys through the best and the worst parts of his subconscious.
Warnings: LOTS of character death and blood and hurt and such. And a mild slash sex scene. Small deviations from canon in terms of timeline and creating students to fill out Sirius's Hogwarts years.

Sorry for butting in, but after skimming for pics myself (I've no self-control, obviously) I need to second that comment. Not to mention the way the paint runs in the smoking one. As for the writing, it's currently sucking me in.

Oh well, I gave myself today to write--and reading and writing are pretty much the same. Only one is all passive goodness and the other all toil. ; )

Have popped back! Crazy, crazy week going on here, lol, but hopefully I'll be around a bit more tomorrow.

The icon's a real old one I've had for a few years, and decided needed an airing again. It's by cunning_croft, who used to do some very funny HP ones. I've swapped a lot of icons over - essential procrastination time while stuck on a plot point ;) - so brace yourself!

The Quidditch pic looked amazing, even with my very quick look.

It's difficult for me to judge because I'm not an outsider to my own writing, but I think you could view each of Marie's images and not be spoiled; the graphics definitely make my story better, yet her images are so capable of standing on their own, in fact. Everything she produced is superlative, and I'm so happy you did see what she drew because it's just astounding. And the hair is very, very good.
