I can't believe that your birthdays are the same day!! And that I somehow had the idea that I should make both of you a birthday present.. But you have both been instrumental in making me feel welcome in the lj-world, so perhaps it is rather fitting! :) Both drawings are inspired by stories you have written. Oh. my. gosh. This is incredible. I feel like you've stepped into my brain and captured the scene exactly as I pictured it, from Remus being so sexy and casual leaning against his desk, to Tonks being so taken with him even though she's trying to be professional. And the detail of the office! It's so perfectly untidy...I love the parchment unfurled, and the grindylow tan, and the lightning flash outside the window...And is that a portrait of Primrose and her byre on the wall?

This is most excellent, and I cannot thank you enough. What a happy start to my birthday.

Squeeee! I'm so pleased you like it! I thought your take on Remus and Tonks in this story was really great, so I'm happy you can recognice their characteristics. And all the details you have noticed! Yes, that is Primrose and her byre! I almost did something from that story, but then this scene demanded precedence. I just couldn't completely ignore my first idea. :)

Thank you again (after my slightly hysterical email :^P); I'm a bit more coherent now but still amazed at your work. Beyond incredible ... Poor Bobby had barely stepped out of the shower and I was, "Youhavetocomeandseethisdrawing!" and he obliged, and his eyes got big and he said, "Wow! That's incredible!" You are very talented, my friend, and I am so honored that you chose to draw this for me.

Ohmigosh, that horse is beautiful! *fawns* And the detail is amazing (especially the rocks)! Maedhros looks so relaxed and casual and...wow. Awesome.

Oh honey, the Maedhros piece just breathes relaxation and peace. You convey this so beautifully in this piece with the small things that makes you want to stare at it for a long time. i also have to say, just like that Findekano piece at DA, I love the golden/yellow paper usage (or did you apply layers in photoshop?). Anyway, love it, simply brilliant.

Aaww, thank you, hon - I'm so pleased you like it. It is always nice to give Nelyo a moment of peace. :) And yes the background is a layer in photoshop, where I also highlight some areas - I'm pleased with the outcome, it makes the drawing stand out more.
