I'm leaving Greenland tomorrow... I have really enjoyed my stay here - everything is so very beautiful, and I have relaxed and taken it all in. I'm already planning to come again another time, preferably when the real winter sets in, and ice covers the sea, so I can go out in a dog sleigh! :) I have tasted seal, reindeer, whale, dried fish, blubber and crowberries. I liked some of it, and found all of it interesting. ;) Anyway, I just have time to show you three photos of an amazing sunrise the other day, before we are off to have our final dinner here north of the arctic circle!

It is so beautiful here, I can't believe it. And thank you, I hope there won't be any delays - I'm travelling with my friend and her two-month-old baby.

He may expect a healthy dose of binka-hugs ;) for his awesome muse job. After all, thanks to whom I got this pretty shiny banner? :D

My pointy-eared boyfriends are a little jealous, especially the golden one ;)

~You can submit the photos to print so that people can well, eum use the image to print cards, posters and such. Yes, I think it is that good.

To submit a print btw, it's just under Submit Deviation ;)

The colours in the second one are amazing, are they not? I was stunned when I saw that sunrise (and quite frozen, it was bloody cold...) I will take care, especially as I'm travelling with my friend and her little baby.

Wow! I am so glad to hear that you had a good time, though I can see how, with scenery like that.

Have a safe trip back home to Middle-earth! ;) *knus*

Thank you - it is so beautiful isn't it? I have looked at the same view now for two weeks, and I don't think I'll ever tire of it. :) My friends have been here for more than two years, and they can still get excited about it too.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a smooth journey - the weather rules all up here. (((knus)))

Wow, thank you! I'll definitely look into this when I come home.

Right now we are sitting waiting for news on the departure, because the snow is too heavy for the helicopter to fly... :) Ah, the joys of nature.

Those are absolutely stunning, must have been wonderful to actually see. And I do hope you're home! Bad enough when adults get delays and messed around but it doesn't bear thinking about with a small baby. :(

It was wonderful to see, I can tell you! And I'm still in Greenland... At least we haven't actually left the house, so we are quite comfortable, but everything is still packed against an sudden departure. We will get our new travelplans in an hour or so, and we are crossing our fingers for getting to Denmark tomorrow, instead of flying some of the way and then staying in a hotel until monday.

Best of luck for a smooth trip home as soon as possible. :) (Though you can always take some more photos to kill time;))

Was about to answer your query at Meta but Lisa beat me to it! The 'gen' stands for general so, as she said, nothing too romantic.

Thank you for your wishes - and you have just read my mind. I was hanging out the window taking photos just as your comment ticked in! :)

I saw Lisa's answer - I think these prompts are harder than the first ones.. I'll try to brew up some ideas.
